The Mayor of Porto Moniz, Olavo Câmara, has presented the governance strategy for his term, divided into three "speeds." This approach aims to address the population's immediate problems, tackle the municipality's structural challenges, and prepare for the future.
The first "speed" focuses on proximity and rapid response to daily needs, such as road maintenance and essential services. The second addresses structural challenges in mobility, housing, and tourism, with projects like the new Seixal road and the revision of the Municipal Master Plan.
The third "speed" is dedicated to preparing for future investments, with ongoing studies and projects for new infrastructure and the development of local plans. The goal is to ensure Porto Moniz is ready for future funding opportunities and to enhance its competitiveness.
