Paula Margarido to Convey Porto Moniz Concerns to Regional Government

Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labor, and Youth, Paula Margarido, pledged to take the concerns of the Porto Moniz Municipality to the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque. These issues involve the low payment for the use of the Zootechnical Station and safety on sections of the expressway.

Margarido responded to the demands made by the President of the Municipal Chamber, Olavo Câmara, during the 191st-anniversary ceremony of the municipality. Regarding the Zootechnical Station, the municipality receives approximately 150 euros annually, while experts estimate a fair value to be around eight thousand euros per month.

The secretary also assured that expressway safety remains a priority for the Regional Government, with particular focus on the stretch between the João Delgado and Ladeira da Vinha tunnels in Seixal. She highlighted the infrastructure's importance for the municipality and the ongoing monitoring and investment efforts to ensure mobility and safety.
