The Porto Santo Municipal Council has begun distributing 50 euro vouchers per student for the purchase of school supplies for the 2026/2027 academic year. This initiative represents a municipal investment of approximately 32,000 euros and covers all students in the municipality.
Guardians can collect the vouchers until September 30th and use them at participating local businesses. The mayor, Nuno Batista, highlighted that the program aims to assist families with back-to-school expenses and support local commerce.
