Porto Santo is set to benefit from a new Public Security Police (PSP) station, which will include accommodation facilities.
Eight rooms have been designated to house officers who will be deployed to reinforce policing on the island during the summer season. The project, funded by the state, will cover an area of 4,000 square meters and will be located next to the new Local Health Unit.
This new infrastructure aims to enhance security and police support on the Golden Island, particularly during months with higher tourist numbers.
