The Praia Formosa promenade was fully reopened to the public from Wednesday, September 23, after the completion of temporary pavement repair.
The section connecting Praia Formosa to Socorridos had been closed preventively since August 16 due to identified signs requiring a safety assessment. The intervention aimed to mitigate risks and ensure safe circulation conditions.
Élia Ribeiro, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Development Societies, emphasized that user safety was the priority. The promenade recorded 371,782 passages between the start of the year and its closure.
