On October 19th, the President of the Republic enacted a decree from the Assembly of the Republic establishing the representation of the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores in structures responsible for regulating qualifications and certifying training entities and apprenticeships.
This decision, announced by the Presidency of the Republic, pertains to Decree No. 111/XVII, which amends the legal framework of the National Qualifications System. The aim is to strengthen the regions' participation in national professional training and certification processes.
The new provisions will come into effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette.
