PS Secretary-General José Luís Carneiro expressed agreement with President António José Seguro's decision to submit the decree concerning the return of foreigners to the Constitutional Court.
"That issue is very well decided" by the President, Carneiro stated, speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the Festas do Povo in Campo Maior. The socialist leader declined to comment on criticism from the Chega party or controversies involving the Minister of Internal Administration.
Carneiro also took the opportunity to criticize Prime Minister Luís Montenegro for taking a vacation despite stating he would not, arguing it reflects how the Prime Minister's commitments and word should be viewed.
