PSD-M Secretary-General José Prada spoke at the party's celebration, expressing joy despite the rain and greeting Madeiran communities, particularly those in Venezuela.
Prada praised the party's structures, calling them its "soul," and assured that PSD-M will continue to engage with people, which has been key to its electoral longevity.
The party leader also paid tribute to Armando Abreu, a former organizer of the event, and reiterated that the strength of the celebration comes from the Madeiran people, not from Lisbon.
