The Public Security Police (PSP) of Madeira, through the Criminal Investigation Squad of the Machico Police Division, arrested two men aged between 35 and 38, residents of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, in the act of drug trafficking.
The operation, which had been investigating synthetic drug trafficking in the municipality of Machico for about one year and nine months, resulted in the seizure of over 52 grams of synthetic drug known as "Bloom", more than 12 grams of "Gorby", 68,000 euros in cash, 11 vehicles (including a high-end one), three mobile phones, and a safe.
The detainees were presented for non-judicial interrogation and were subjected to the coercive measure of identity and residence term. The PSP reaffirms its commitment to combating drug trafficking, especially synthetic drugs, due to social concern and negative community impact.
