The PTP has questioned the Regional Government regarding the intent behind a decree that prohibits any non-controlled-cost housing construction in Amparo, São Martinho, since August 20.
The measure, initially valid for two years, affects land in a valuable Funchal area. However, the party criticizes the lack of a timeline, promoting entity, number of units, access criteria, or funding source for the announced project.
Raquel Coelho, PTP leader, believes this lack of detail "is deceiving the population" and questions whether there are other unknown intentions for the land.
