Santana will host the only Rali da Madeira special stage taking place exclusively in the island's northern region. The course begins on the ER 219, slightly above the access road to Ilha parish, and concludes at Est. Eiras.
The route is predominantly uphill, featuring some flat and fast sections, alongside technical parts with "hairpins" demanding driver skill. Weather conditions, often different from the rest of the island, may add an element of unpredictability to the race.
