The Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Work and Youth, Paula Margarido, participated in the 24th-anniversary celebrations of the Associação Santana Cidade Solidária. On the occasion, the official highlighted the importance of valuing the elderly and recognizing those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
Paula Margarido congratulated the Association on its 24 years of existence, noting that the institution currently supports around 600 people. It was in this context that she announced the regional meeting 'The Meaning of Caring', scheduled for October 21st at Quinta do Furão.
The initiative, promoted by the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Work and Youth in partnership with the Associação Santana Cidade Solidária, aims to recognize and value the work of Direct Action Assistants, promoting reflection on this essential profession in Residential Structures for the Elderly.
