The Madeira Regional Government has authorized an update of 3.80% to the financial contributions from the Madeira Social Security Institute to social and solidarity sector entities. This adjustment applies to the currently effective monthly financial co-financing.
Program contracts were also approved, including one with SANASMADEIRA – Madeira Association for Maritime Rescue, to ensure the operation of RESCO in 2026, with a maximum financial contribution of €68,000.00. Furthermore, the program contract with the Municipality of Machico was amended to reprogram co-financing values for the rehabilitation project of the Porto da Cruz Cemetery, maintaining the maximum amount at €3,141,706.98.
Other decisions involved the acquisition of land for infrastructure works in Santo António, the sale of a rustic property in the parish of Santo António, and the lease award for a property in Camacha. The Regional Government also publicly commended Madeiran athletes and associations for their national and international sports achievements.
