The Regional Government has increased its financial support for the 35th edition of the ART'Camacha festival by 25%, allocating up to 20,000 euros this year.
The funding, provided by the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries through an agreement with the Casa do Povo da Camacha, will cover organizational expenses such as promotion, entertainment, logistics, security, and decoration.
This year's event features 48 groups and associations, approximately 700 participants, and a diverse program of cultural, recreational, and sports activities. The festival also pays tribute to Maria Ascensão, a notable figure in Madeiran folklore.
