The Regional Government has reiterated its warning to the Republic's Government regarding a series of constraints affecting the operation of the Territorial Continuity Mechanism (MCT).
New issues identified recently include delays in payments for approved requests, problems with Ryanair documentation, suspension of return ticket pairing, and the inability to submit new student enrollment certificates.
Payment delays, previously processed within a few working days, can now take up to two weeks, exacerbating the situation amid rising airfares. Ryanair has also changed documentation requirements, complicating refunds for those who purchased tickets before the alteration.
