The first edition of the Green Market in Ribeira Brava began this afternoon, featuring an event dedicated to sustainability, conscious crafts, and regional products. The initiative, running until Sunday in the town's new square, is organized by Falésia Atelier.
The event aims to invigorate the town center with gastronomy, producer stalls, and entertainment. The Mayor of Ribeira Brava, Jorge Santos, highlighted the positive impact of the eco-market, calling it "a huge asset for our municipality" that supports the local economy and promotes ecological choices.
Carlota Gouveia, from Falésia Atelier, views the debut as a milestone for Green Market Madeira, reinforcing its mission to decentralize the message of sustainability and the circular economy. With free admission, the Green Market is open daily from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
