The parish of Ribeira da Janela will celebrate the festival in honor of the Blessed Sacrament on Sunday, August 9. Festivities will commence on Saturday, August 8, with a performance by the Banda Filarmónica do Arco de São Jorge at 11 AM, followed by fireworks at noon and a visit to local sites with the philharmonic band at 3 PM.
Saturday's program also includes performances by singers Roberto Jardim, Roberto Freitas, and Márcio Amaro, interspersed with a novena and mass at 8 PM. On Sunday, after the Banda Filarmónica do Arco de São Jorge performs at 2 PM, there will be a Eucharist followed by a procession. The festival concludes with performances by Álvaro Florença, Conjunto Montereal, and Fernando Correia Marques.
