A Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, part of the fleet of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has landed for the first time at Madeira International Airport - Cristiano Ronaldo.
The aircraft is associated with the entourage of Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, whose arrival on the island is expected in the coming days.
The arrival of the Crown Prince and a larger delegation is scheduled for Thursday, with a stay planned until August 19. The entourage will be accommodated in a five-star hotel in Funchal. The plane landed early to prepare for the reception and conduct runway tests.
