Funchal Folk 2026 is set to take place from August 17 to 21, fostering cultural exchange under the theme "World Festival." The event aims to celebrate the diversity, music, and dance that unite different peoples.
Participating folklore groups will hail from Slovakia, Croatia, Poland, Spain, France, Lithuania, Portugal (Viseu), and Brazil. The host group will be Madeira's own MonteVerde, completing an international lineup promising to enrich the island with traditions from around the globe.
