A very windy day caused dozens of cancellations at Madeira Airport. At least 37 flights were cancelled, according to reports.
Videos captured failed landing attempts by a Condor flight and an easyJet flight. The footage was provided by Madeira Aviation Spotting.
Other recordings circulating online show the tense moments from inside the cabin, including a passenger who filmed his flight being aborted during approach.
