The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts a very cloudy Sunday for Madeira Island, though with good sunny spells on the southern slopes.
However, there is a possibility of light showers on the northern slopes and in the highlands until late morning. Winds are expected to be light to moderate from the northeast, potentially becoming strong in the eastern and western extremities and in the highlands, particularly from the afternoon onwards.
In Funchal, skies will generally be partly cloudy with light winds. Sea temperatures are expected to range between 23 and 25ºC.
