The Superior Council of National Defense expressed thanks and praise to the Armed Forces on Tuesday, October 13th.
The unanimous decision was made during an ordinary meeting at the Belém Palace, presided over by the President of the Republic.
The agenda included an assessment of the international defense and security situation and an update on National Detached Forces. The president of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, and the Representative of the Republic for the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Paulo Barreto, attended the meeting.
