The parish of Tabua celebrated its 283rd anniversary with the presentation of investments in housing, accessibility, agriculture, water, and sanitation.

The parish of Tabua marked its 283rd anniversary with a solemn session where investments in various areas were announced and presented.

Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, highlighted PRODERAM support, a LEADER tourism project, banana agricultural production (487,558 kg in 2025), and the construction of 17 controlled-cost housing units under the PRR, with an investment exceeding 3.1 million euros. He also mentioned the requalification of Regional Road 222 and interventions in water and sanitation.

The Mayor of Ribeira Brava Municipality, Jorge Santos, announced new municipal investments, including the requalification of Praceta da Tabua (300,000 euros) and the commencement of the Terça Agricultural Path project. He also announced a municipal contribution of 70,000 euros for the rehabilitation of the Tabua Parish House.
