The tugboat Mercúrio arrived in Madeira this week, replacing the "Comandante Passos Gouveia". The vessel, operating under a charter agreement, will support APRAM's maritime operations.
This replacement occurs while the "Comandante Passos Gouveia" travels to mainland Portugal for a triennial inspection of the ship and its equipment. The "Mercúrio" will be in Funchal for an initial period of 50 days, enhancing assistance capabilities for ships calling at Madeira's ports.
