Union Accuses Regional Government of Excluding Structure from Negotiations

The Union of Public and Social Workers of the South and Autonomous Regions (SINTAP Madeira) accuses the Regional Government of Madeira of having excluded the union structure from negotiations concerning the strike of Child Support Technicians, scheduled for July 20 and 21.

In a statement, the union asserts that it "was not called, not heard, not dialogued with" by the entity, considering this attitude reveals a lack of dialogue with those who daily follow the reality of the services.

The strike remains scheduled, and the union has called for a protest gathering on July 20, at 11 AM, outside the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology in Funchal, urging the participation of professionals and demanding "real answers, firm commitments, and concrete solutions."
