PSD/M Member of Parliament Vânia Jesus questioned the Minister of Infrastructure, Mobility and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz, about the implementation of the Territorial Continuity Mechanism. Jesus argued that government communication must be "clear, timely, and permanent," demanding assurances that the solution allowing residents to pay only the fare price will be developed as quickly as possible.
Jesus criticized the delays in implementing changes to the mobility model, recalling that the previous PS government never regulated similar laws in eight years. The MP also pointed out flaws in the new electronic platform, deeming it "excessively complex and confusing" and criticizing the lack of clear information during the transition period.
The Secretary of State for Infrastructure confirmed that the solution for residents to pay only the fare price remains planned, but is dependent on the stabilization of ongoing changes.
