ENEREEM, part of the EEM Group, has announced that the second phase of its wind turbine blade transport operation will begin next Sunday, September 13th. Vehicle traffic will be restricted between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, starting from Ribeira Brava.
The transport, involving blades 61.6 meters long, requires natural daylight and will occur during daytime hours. Maneuvers will necessitate extra care to prevent impacts. The route will cover sections of the VE3, including Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar, Arco da Calheta, Calheta, Prazeres, and access roads to Paul da Serra.
The operation will be escorted by pilot vehicles and coordinated with relevant authorities, including security forces and Civil Protection, to ensure safety and traffic management. ENEREEM requests the understanding of road users and advises caution and adherence to signage and instructions.
