Madeira will be under a yellow warning due to the hot weather expected over the weekend and into early next week.
The yellow alert for the South Coast is in effect from 09:00 today until 18:00 on Monday, September 14th. For the North Coast, Mountain Regions, and Porto Santo, the warning begins at 09:00 on Sunday and concludes at 18:00 on Monday.
These weather warnings have been issued by the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
