A patient in need of urgent healthcare was airlifted from Porto Santo to the island of Madeira. The flight was conducted by an EH-101 Merlin helicopter from the Portuguese Air Force's 752 Squadron – ‘Pumas’.
The aeromedical evacuation ensured the patient received prompt medical care on Madeira.
