Albuquerque Confirms Regional Minimum Wage of 1,050 Euros in 2027

Miguel Albuquerque confirmed that the increase in the regional minimum wage to 1,050 euros next year is coordinated with the CDS-PP and fits within the commitments made between the two parties for the current legislature.

When questioned about the announcement made by the CDS-PP, the President of the Regional Government assured that the measure is not an isolated initiative but a concerted decision within the coalition supporting the Madeiran executive.

Albuquerque recalled that there is a political understanding between PSD and CDS-PP regarding the evolution of the regional minimum wage, both at the governmental and parliamentary levels, reinforcing that the increase planned for 2027 continues the wage appreciation trajectory defined by the executive.
