Civil Protection issued an 8pm update on the passage of depression Bruna, reporting several roads closed or restricted across the island of Madeira.
Affected routes include the ER107-1 access road to Eira do Serrado and the forest road linking Eira do Serrado to Pico do Areeiro, as well as the ER223, closed between the expressway roundabout and the church, and the ER228 between Encumeada and Achada do Beirão.
Municipal access to the coastline was also closed, including several piers, and all classified hiking trails in the autonomous region are closed.
