Francisco Franco Secondary School achieved second place in the national final of the FAQtos 2026 Award, held at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
The awarded project, titled VisionGlass – RF in Skin Health Analysis and Monitoring, was developed by student João Pedro Monteiro, from the Professional Course in IT Management and Equipment Technician, under the guidance of Professor Teresa Neves. VisionGlass stands out for integrating innovative technologies such as radiofrequency, artificial intelligence, facial recognition, and augmented reality for real-time skin analysis and monitoring.
This national recognition, awarded after a presentation to a panel of experts, is a source of pride for the educational community and reinforces the school's commitment to innovation and quality training. The team expressed gratitude for the support of partners who contributed to the project's realization.
