The Municipality of Funchal has established a partnership with NOVA Medical School and the Regional Health Service of Madeira (SESARAM) for the second edition of a program promoting healthy lifestyles in children.
This collaboration aims to reinforce the importance of prevention and early intervention in child health. The protocol funded the enrollment of 10 children and young people residing in the Funchal municipality, selected based on clinical and socioeconomic vulnerability criteria defined by SESARAM.
Health professionals led sessions on nutrition, physical activity, and mental health, fostering knowledge sharing through practical workshops and fun activities.
