During this Thursday's Council meeting, a package of social support measures totaling €220,000 was approved.
These funds will be used for the provision of school books and materials, benefiting approximately two thousand families, and for birth and family support (nurseries and kindergartens), covering 220 households.
Furthermore, 32 new street sweepers have been hired to enhance the city's urban cleaning services. The mayor highlighted this measure as crucial for addressing the challenges in this sector.
