The Funchal Municipal Council (CMF) unanimously approved 12 cultural projects under the Circular program and global support of 70,000 euros for agents in the fields of education, sports, and youth.
Mayor Jorge Carvalho highlighted that these measures continue the municipal policy. The Circular program aims to support cultural agents from the municipality in presenting their work outside the region, including mainland Portugal and abroad.
"This is a way for us to take our culture not only to the mainland but also to spaces outside the country," stated Jorge Carvalho. The 70,000 euro support for education, sports, and youth agents also received unanimous approval.
