High Temperatures Persist in Madeira and Porto Santo with Yellow Warning

Hot weather will continue in Madeira and Porto Santo this Tuesday, September 8th. The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has maintained a yellow warning for the persistence of high maximum temperatures on the South Coast of Madeira and in Porto Santo.

A slight increase in maximum temperatures is forecast, particularly in the highlands, along with the possibility of suspended dust. In Funchal, temperatures are expected to range between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius, while in Porto Santo, values between 22 and 27 degrees are anticipated. The sky will be partly cloudy to clear, with light to moderate northeasterly winds.
