Temperatures in Madeira and Porto Santo remain high this Tuesday, September 8th, with the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) maintaining a yellow warning due to persistently high maximum temperatures.
A slight increase in maximum temperatures is expected, particularly in the highlands, along with the possibility of suspended dust. In Funchal, temperatures are forecast to range between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius, while Porto Santo expects values between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius.
The sky will be mostly clear or partly cloudy, though increased cloudiness may occur on the northern slopes and in the highlands. Winds will be light to moderate from the Northeast, occasionally blowing strongly in the island's eastern and western extremes and higher areas, and light in Funchal.
