IFCN Conducts Clean-up and Maintenance on Rabaçal Walking Routes

Teams from the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) continue cleaning and maintaining walking routes in the Rabaçal area, including around PR6 – Levada das 25 Fontes.

The IFCN states that the area's popularity necessitates regular monitoring and ongoing work along the trails, in surrounding areas, and in places visitors might overlook.

Its teams work year-round to remove litter, maintain the routes, and protect Rabaçal’s landscape and natural heritage. The institute urges visitors to take all their rubbish with them when they leave.
