The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Work and Youth is holding a signing ceremony for Incentive Concession Contracts (CCI) today at 12:00 PM in the Secretariat's Auditorium.
Presided over by Regional Secretary Paula Margarido and attended by the President of the Madeira Employment Institute (IEM), the event will formalize six projects under the CRIEE Program – Creation and Consolidation of Companies and Employment. These projects will cover the municipalities of Funchal, Machico, Santa Cruz, and Calheta, in areas such as engineering, hospitality, IT programming, and tourism animation, and will lead to the creation of seven new jobs.
The total investment associated with these contracts amounts to €220,053.68. Since 2015, the CRIEE program has supported 614 entrepreneurs, resulting in the creation of 1,015 jobs, with an accumulated public investment exceeding €11.290 million. The initiative aligns with the Regional Government's strategy to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the regional economy.
