The Regional Government of Madeira will formalize an investment of €220,053.68 to support six new business projects under the CRIEE program – Creation and Consolidation of Companies and Employment. The signing of the Incentive Concession Contracts (CCI) will take place at the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth.
The ceremony will be presided over by Paula Margarido and will include the presence of the president of the Madeira Employment Institute, Pedro Gouveia. The selected projects cover the municipalities of Funchal, Machico, Santa Cruz, and Calheta.
These initiatives are expected to create seven new jobs in the fields of engineering, hospitality, computer programming, and tourism animation. Since 2015, the CRIEE program has supported 614 entrepreneurs, leading to the creation of 1,015 jobs with an accumulated public investment exceeding €11.29 million.
