The international crisis and its economic and social effects on the Autonomous Region of Madeira will be the subject of the monthly debate scheduled for October 21. The announcement was made by the president of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, Rubina Leal, following the Conference of Representatives.
Proposals for the theme were presented by the PSD and PS parties, and the debate was approved. The Parliament President also informed that a petition regarding Madeira's urban model will be considered in plenary next Tuesday.
Additionally, a change to the seating arrangement in the front row of the hemicycle was approved by majority, at the request of the PS, to reflect the current parliamentary composition. Rubina Leal appealed for restraint in language during parliamentary work, emphasizing the need for respect for the institution's dignity.
