Hundreds of 10th-grade students were welcomed at Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz for an orientation session marking the start of a new school phase.
Carlos Pontes, president of the Executive Council, challenged the students to "dream big," assuring them that the school is "doing everything to ensure academic success." Pontes highlighted the school's successful track record, with over 80% of students entering higher education in their first or second choices.
Following the reception, students were guided by their class directors to receive school cards and additional information during a tour of the facilities. The academic year commences on September 21st.
