Licínia de Jesus has been reappointed as the president of JSD Câmara de Lobos, during an event that also saw the inauguration of new teams.
Bruno Melim, president of JSD Madeira, praised Câmara de Lobos' progress over the last two decades, calling it a regional example in public investment and decision-making. He also advocated for greater representation of the municipality in regional decision-making centers and highlighted the focus on affordable housing, with an expected increase in units.
For the new term, Melim identified youth salaries and mental health as priority areas. Licínia de Jesus expressed pride and a sense of responsibility, pledging to enhance youth involvement in the municipality's life and bring them closer to decisions so they can thrive in Câmara de Lobos.
