ANA has asked passengers to check their flight status over the weekend because of bad weather affecting Madeira's airport.
According to the report, only one Jet2 flight, from Manchester, was scheduled for the following day, and that flight had already been cancelled.
The author asked whether Saturday was an unusually busy day for Jet2 or whether reduced schedules are standard during this period. A reader replied that Monday and Friday are the airline's main days on the route, and that with the winter timetable only the Wednesday service has been stopped.
