The IPMA forecasts partly cloudy to clear skies, light to moderate northeast winds, and high temperatures, with a yellow alert for the south coast and Porto Santo.

The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a day with partly cloudy to clear skies in Madeira, with more cloudiness expected on the north coast and Porto Santo. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast, ranging from 10 to 30 km/h.

Maximum temperatures on Madeira island are expected to reach 29.ºC, with a minimum of 23.ºC. In Porto Santo, the forecast high is 28.ºC and the low is 22.ºC. The IPMA has issued a yellow alert for hot weather, extending until Wednesday, due to persistently high maximum temperatures on the south coast of Madeira and Porto Santo.

Funchal is expected to have partly cloudy to clear skies with light winds, below 15 km/h. Waves on the north coast will be from the northeast at 1 to 1.5 meters, and less than 1 meter on the south coast. Sea water temperature will range between 23 and 24.ºC.
