The Regional Secretary for the Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, expressed Madeira's desire to deepen relations with São Tomé and Príncipe.
In a message delivered at the solemn session commemorating the 51st anniversary of the Independence of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Rodrigues highlighted the Autonomous Region's ambition to transform the existing proximity into a more intense economic partnership.
The goal is to attract investment, bring companies closer, and create new cooperation opportunities between the two archipelagos.
