Madeira island and Porto Santo remain under a yellow alert due to heat, with temperatures potentially reaching 30ºC on Madeira's South coast.
The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts mostly clear skies, with some cloudiness expected on the northern slopes and highlands. Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast, occasionally strong at the eastern and western extremities and in the highlands. There is a possibility of suspended dust and a slight increase in maximum temperatures, particularly in the highlands. Funchal is expected to have mostly clear skies.
Waves on the North coast will be from the northeast at 1.5 to 2 meters, and on the South coast, less than 1 meter. The sea temperature is between 24 and 25ºC.
