On September 17th, the Colégio dos Jesuítas in Funchal will host the meeting 'Climate Governance and Sustainability in Island Territories: From Local Action to Global Impact in Macaronesia'. The event, organized by PAN-Madeira in partnership with the Portalegre Polytechnic Institute and with the collaboration of the University of Madeira, will take place between 10 am and 5 pm.
The initiative aims to bring together science, public policy, and civil society, gathering experts, party representatives, and local projects in four panels focused on climate challenges and island cooperation. The goal is to place Madeira at the center of the debate on the sustainable future of islands and promote public participation.
Registration is free but mandatory, and is now open via the official form provided by the organization.
