The PSD has reiterated in the Assembly of the Republic the need for Madeira's effective participation in the National Qualifications System (SNQ). The proposed law, presented by the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, aims to strengthen the intervention of Autonomous Regions in national decision-making processes that directly affect their territories.
MP Vânia Jesus highlighted that the proposal ensures Madeira's reality and specificities are considered in national processes. Although a part of the original proposal, concerning changes to the National Agency for Qualification and Professional Education (ANQEP), was withdrawn due to the agency's dissolution, the PSD believes that the Autonomous Regions' participation in the SNQ's new governance model should be examined by the Governments.
