Elisabete Silva, the PSD representative, used the Solemn Session for the 282nd anniversary of the Municipality of São Vicente to highlight areas requiring greater attention from the Municipal Chamber.
Key priorities mentioned are water quality and supply, basic sanitation, and the upkeep of public spaces and infrastructure. Silva stressed that these issues, while seemingly basic, significantly impact the quality of life for both residents and visitors.
The party also urged for increased citizen participation in Municipal Assembly sessions and advocated for structural projects to boost the local economy, create opportunities, and retain young people and families, involving the Regional Government, businesses, and civil society.
